Dear Rugby Players, Fans and Supporters:
Welcome to Grand Rapids, Michigan – Rugby City USA and home of the Grand Rapids Rugby Football Club. The Grand Rapids Rugby Football Club has hosted this highly competitive 7’s tournament for 23 consecutive years and this event continues to receive Midwest qualifier status.
We are excited to be back at the beautiful Riverside Park with the cooling waters of the Grand River adjacent to our playing fields and festivities tents.
The Grand Rapids Gazelles, The West Michigan Rugby Association and our local youth, high school and our 6 collegiate teams have continued to increase the awareness of Rugby, improve its public image, and promote all Rugby events and matches to the fullest extent possible. With the generous support of the West Michigan Sports Commission, we continue to grow our tournament in 2012.
