Rugby Michigan will be hosting the inaugural Rugby Michigan 7’s Championship this summer.
There are three official qualifying tournaments where teams will earn points for the championship tournament;
#1 Meijer State Games June 21st
#2 Legacy Sport Center 7’s July 12th
#3 Rock Hard 7’s July 19th
State Championships August 2nd @ West Ottawa
- All Myra rules apply to 7’s.
- All players must be CIPPED for the individual teams.
- Only Players who Graduated this Spring or younger are eligible for High school teams!
- Rosters of 12 are permitted for each tournament – multiple teams form individual schools will still need to submit individual rosters.
- Top 8 teams (points) will qualify for the Championship tournament.
- Any team using ineligible players will be disqualified from the tournament and state championship.
Point system:
Top eight teams will get points at each tournament. 8 points for first place down to 1 point for eight place. ties will be determined on head to head then Try’s scored.
